Reminds me of this weird find when I was perusing all of the things for sale on the new Mi store's website - WTF?!

Worth also checking out the actual page for all the details of the listing - https://www.mi-store.co.nz/product/NJL4017RT/Mi-Home-Hand--Bath-Towels-Antibacterial

Headphones from $5.

I'm shopping for some Sony 1000XM3's at the moment. Trouble is I need them before Friday (heading to Oz and want them for the trip) and I doubt they'll be $5. One of the local shops had them on special for $459 last week with the offer going till this coming Tuesday. That might have to do.

$399 at Duty Free. Bought a pair a couple of weeks ago. Out of the box they didn’t have much battery, but I charged mine at the new bar in the departure hall over a beer or two.

I saw someone had posted similarly about getting them at duty free. $399 is a good price, however as there's no duty most items in New Zealand and duty free can be more expensive than a normal retail shop. I couldn't find any advertised duty free, so I bought locally, got them for $459. Having done that I'll no doubt find them cheaper in duty free.

If history is anything to go by this will be another big yawn, including deals dressed up to be nothing different to any other day. I think the apt word is 'disingenuous' on their sales tactics.  I do shop there, but due diligence absolutely essential!!

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

A Cyber Monday (online only) sale usually follows their Black Friday sales.

Best phone deals around 400$? (Was hoping nokia 6.1 would be $400 same as NL deal a little while back but it's not.  anything else worth looking at?)

You tempted fate... PB Tech are selling them for 399 for their Black Friday sale...

I've got my eyes on a new tablet for wifey. Seems like a pretty good deal they'll have going on the one she wants. I'll pop in to the local store in the morning to see if they actually have any stock, then it'll be a gamble from 4pm.

Never been to one of these before (couldn't previously be bothered) - do they tend to attract long queues? If so, I'll probably wait for a Cyber Monday sale.

Yeah the queues are usually pretty big and they only let a certain amount of people in at a time.

Probably best to way till Cyber Monday

Hey I am also looking at getting those headphone. I'm new to this whole Black Friday and Cyber Monday thing. Can someone please explain the difference? I know one is in-store only and one is online. But is the stock for Cyber Monday just the stuff that didn't sell? Or do they keep some specifically for Cyber Monday? So if I don't get the headphones on friday, can I just wait till monday for the same price? Will it be the same price? And will this be monday 19th?

What are the odds of Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman price-matching any of the offers that PBTech are advertising here?

Anyone had success trying that? They are in-store prices, and should be eligible for price-matching...right?

has to be excat same stocked item and not on clearance.  So in theory it should work (if same model excatley).
