TeaLeaf:

I was hoping a mobile phone might truely be on sale, but with their prices being so high normally, sale prices are normal prices elsewhere.

Thanks to Pricespy, I can see that PBTech now has some of the best prices in NZ for some popular mobile phones. One of my phones needs replacing right now so the timing plus being able to walk into a store also work well for me 😀 (ooh, only just noticed the new emojis). Of mobile phones with a minimum 4GB RAM and 64GB storage there's some good options, e.g.

$329 (-8%) Huawei Nova 3i - excellent value for money

$499 (-10%) LG G7 ThinQ - IP68 & MIL rated

And some getting close, e.g.

$499 (+1%) Huawei P20 128GB

$799 (+3%) Huawei P20 Pro 128GB - 6GB RAM

Other stores have significant drops too:

$404 (-13%) Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 - 5,000 mAh battery

It's not hard to check at pbtech.

PLEASE NOTE: techXpo Sale is available in-store and online at all PB Tech stores with all stores open normal hours during the sale except PB Tech Auckland Uni. which will now also be open on Sunday 3rd. The Bank Transfer payment option will be disabled in the online checkout during this promotion but Credit Card and POLi options will be available. Store pickup will be disabled online during this promotion. This sale is for in-stock products only, no back-orders are available. Not all sale products detailed on this page are available in all PB Tech stores, and some may be available online only. Products are 1 per customer unless otherwise specified.

If you mean you used a Vsa debit card, the payment is still processed by Visa who charges a commission to the merchant, and they pass it to you.
