If the printer came back in stock would I be able to get another 1 or 2 and qualify for the cashback?

I had purchased 2 on Friday.

Checked my order status today and it has changed to "Line Status - Cancelled".

Payment has been deducted and only order confirmation email has been received, so no explanation why it was cancelled. I assume out of stock, but their physical stores still have stock.

Has anyone else had their order cancelled?

You should go into the store and ask. They can then call head office to explain what has happened. They do offer a pick up from store option don't they, so if they already have stock instore that isn't allocated to someone, you should ask them if you can have those.

mattwnz: ... Last time I had a cashback from an HP product I didn't receive the cashback within the time specified, and had to go to the retailer to sort it out, as HP subcontracted out the cashbacks to  some company in Australia to process it.

This has happened to me, twice, when buying HP printers in NZ.
I filled out a very intrusive survey form with lots of personal details, including banking details.
I never received any cash back, despite phoning Australia several times, only to be told that my bank details were not correct (they were correct in every detail).

Never again will I buy anything on a cash-back deal. undecided

EDIT  The irony of this was that I was CIO of a software development company at the time, about to buy 50 new desktop PCs.  HP did not get the contract.

I did get an email back saying I would receive payment in 20 days. Maybe their newer system is better than their old one. I recall previously all of it had to be mailed back to them via snailmail, where there was always the risk of it getting lost in the mail.

Wouldn't warehouse stationery sent invoice for online orders ?

I received the printer but no invoice. When I checked, they say,
"We are unable to generate an invoice for online orders. However, if you log into your account and view past orders, you can then print the order confirmation (which acts as your receipt/invoice)."

But from the online page order details, I can only print it like order details. Not sure if hp will accept that as invoice.

What are you attaching as invoice ?
