Jase2985: just got a 240gb one

$106 cheaper than getting one in NZ

That doesn't sound right, i got a 240 GB one as well, came up to $155 NZD (incl shipping and after conversion rate), you can buy the same at PBtech for around $170 so it's not that huge of a discount.

i got the Sandisk EXTREME PRO which is listed at PBtech for $286, the one you have mentioned is the Plus or the ultra II which wasn't part of the deal on amazon and as you rightly said is about the same price
The PRO was ~$165 including shipping from amazon

you get about the same performance (on paper) from the pro as the Ultra II but you get an extra 7 years warranty, but looking at benchmarks the Pro beats the Ultra by a bit

Ah that clears it up :) , I already have a 120gb OCZ as my Main system drive with good performance, so the Ultra should be good enough for files/games and perhaps a secondary OS drive.

exactally

i got it as a replacement drive for a laptop im freshening up, and because it worked out to be the ~same price as what you can get a 240gb one for in NZ and you get the extra warranty and performance i thought why not.
