here: is anyone testes Amazon Prime? just wanted to sign-up and found this ….

Sounds like a balls-up.

You only can sign up for Amazon Prime Video in NZ they do not offer the full Prime services with fast delivery here yet.

But you still can get free shipping on a lot of things that state free delivery if you spend $49 or over or something. Just needs to say "Eligible for free shipping to NZ" below it.

Not sure if these are Black Friday prices as such but they are damned cheap deals. $1US/pack. My personal picks would be the Leasure Suit Larry and Battle of Polytopia - I paid a ton more for it with the DLC!

I've used this technique a couple of times - it looks like packets of mints as well as 2-packs of AA batteries are some of Amazon.com.au's best sellers, probably by people bumping their purchases up to the threshold.

I chucked a can of chili beans in last time, but in retrospect felt bad about the weight and the extra fuel burn to get it here. Going forward, I'll stick to USB cables or other light stuff.

Does Amazon in Australia have their own flights, or do they have a deal with DHL or similar?

Thanks. Given how crap NZPost can be at times, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of prioritization of Amazon packages going on, though, given that Amazon stuff arrives pretty quick from Oz.

There are lots of deals that are prime exclusive tho, so the price is higher without prime.

Mine have all come by aramex and amazon will no longer allow you to send to PO Boxes which is because they are not using NZ post.
