We've had one of these for a little over 2 years now and it works well. If you don't have a chime box (like we don't), with Home Assistant and Google Text to Speech you can have it announce a message over your smart speakers when someone presses the button.

I do that with a motion sensor at our back door during the times we are at home at the same time as our dogs (e.g. ex-walk/daycare/etc). Alexa randomly shouts out "A Dog Needs the Toilet" when one of them is waiting lol. Really confuses visitors!

Got a confirmation email from Paradigm!

I got an email from Ascent about my second order, for $33 which I snuck thru this morning. Basically saying it was a data entry error and that they were refunding me the money.

Hopefully my original $96 order goes thru...
