Crazy domains dubai, and Gamage again

The word I have for these kind of people can't be posted here and you wouldn't be able to quote.

Probably inline with the term I have in my mind for the 20+ cheap labour users being farmed (check job listings for forum promotion!) joining a vbulletin forum I moderate just to create a user profile, edit the 'homepage' and signature fields to backlink search results for the crawlers. Over 20,000 accts and rising

Here on Geekzone we use five or six different things to prevent spam accounts and posts - internal and external. But this is off topic.

Indeed.

I've not looked into it, but it is only a requirement they *ask* new registras to have correct details at risk of acct cancellation etc. In which case the thousands potentially harvested from CC far outweigh the $30 registration. Or are they actually meant to police it.

I changed my details to a c/- work address after signing up without a blink of an eye or verification requirements.

Reported this yesterday morning to Discount Domains and Cloudflare about an hour after the post appeared on Facebook.
Good thing to see ISP's already taking action to block it on DNS while it gets sorted out :)

DD Replied this morning:

Yes, thanks for contacting us.

We took steps as soon as we were notified to mitigate that reported abuse in accordance with our policies. We can't comment at this stage on the other hosting providers involved. We'll be continuing to work on this issue today.

Regards,
Discount Domains

I should start one promising woodstock and cola deliveries. Problem is the card numbers that you would get would probably only be good for $20 at most except one day of the week ;)

Might be worth noting that besides the same contact name, orderkfc is using the same Gmail address which has since yesterday had a FB profile made:

Like how the bottom left link on ilovekfc.co.nz links to TradeMe
and the prices are in Philippine Peso.
