sbiddle:I'm pretty sure @nate has (or had) some QC20's as well so may able to offer some advice between the two.



I've got the QC15s.

New ones have softer cups, better sound and noise cancelling is better.  All and all, a great set of headphones for flying, I never fly without them.

Yup, but it looks like DSE are sold out now apart from android white.

Just so everyone knows the only difference between Android and IOS versions is the cable. You can grab an alternate cable from Aliexpress if required.

How did you get them to match? I tried today at the St Lukes JB today and the dude flat out said no, they won't match them because their going under...

I asked. Dick Smith is still in trade, it shouldn't matter if they are going under - you can still buy stuff from them.

Every price match I have ever seen has excluded stock liquidation, which is what DSE are doing now. If they did match, then good for you but I wouldnt expect them to match anything at a place that is shutting down and selling out their stock.

Yeah, I'm suspecting those who got in quick may have gotten it to work, they may have put out an internal memo not to match.
