Amazon AU uses NZPost.

Mine have all come by aramex and amazon will no longer allow you to send to PO Boxes which is because they are not using NZ post.

That's strange, mine all come with NZ Post and I receive Amazon deliveries almost once a week. Maybe it depends on the Region. In Wellington I seem to be getting NZ Post but if they for some reason cannot fulfil the order like if one item is late to get to their shipping date they then send the item via DHL overnight.

I am assuming they must purchase a certain weight/space from the airline then hand out to local distribution depending on rates... But you can pay zero shipping even on items that are several KG.

Kinda crazy considering the shipping rates if you were to send 10KG overseas.

Anyway heaps of good deals popping up on Amazon AU including with LG screens/Lenovo Products and Dell that all have free international shipping.

For some reason Dell NZ website only is listing Laptop for sale this year, no monitors or other equipment but on their Ebay and Amazon AU they have bigger price drops.

I think Amazon AU comes via NZ Post and Amazon AU (but actually from the US) comes via Aramex.

But I'm probably wrong, usually am.

The primary reason to have Prime in a real Amazon market is free delivery. It's the reason I have it, the other stuff is nice but no big deal.

I'm not sure what Prime I have but it's free delivery AU to NZ for anything over ~$50.

I've used it for some quite large, heavy  items - for example workshop machinery.

I also get free delivery on occassional things from Amazon US (most recently marine electrical cable).

Sonos Move, 15% off at AV World.  $799 down to $679.  Harvey, Noel, etc all still at $798 or $799 at the mo.

Sonos Move - AV World - Auckland HiFi Store

Looks like that's 15% off all Sonos at AV World.

If you are in New Zealand you probably only have Amazon Prime Video.

You don't need Amazon Prime video to be eligible for the free shipping over $50, that is available to everyone in New Zealand.

If anyone is looking for a DIY grade drill press then Bosch's PBD40 is on sale on Aussie Amazon.  $NZ 266 vs usual price of ~$NZ500 local retail with free delivery if you have Prime.

Bosch 710 Watt Electric Bench Drill Press, 13mm Chuck, Digital Display, Speed Selection, Includes Parallel Guide and Clamp (PBD 40) : Amazon.com.au: Home Improvement

Disclaimer: This drill has couple of issues that are well documented but not dealbreakers for most DIY uses (chuck wobble and a wheel instead of a lever for raising/lowering chuck.  I have one that I bought from Amazon and it's been absolutely fine for DIY stuff.  I'm mostly working with wood with a little brass, alloy and steel.

I think you might be right.  Looks like it has expired, as I no longer have access to the free Prime library etc.

Black and Decker LiIon pivot dustbuster, usually $180 in NZ, Amazon AU it's US$59 plus about $20 shipping. That's about NZ$85, less than half the price of NZ.

I had this, i hated this.

- the chuck was terrible, was difficult to tighten and bits would fall out

- the wheel is a pita to use, 3 spoke thing is just easier on a drill press and something that didnt need to be reinvented

I sold it and bought a full boar one instead.
