JarrodM: No one has managed to get the iOS or Apple TV app to work?

I have the ios app on the ipad and I airplay to atv3. Have only signed up recently so have not had much opportunity to test but it does work. Had to create an asian apple account to get app though.

I downloaded the app through the NZ store, and it just says this app is not available in this region or something to that effect when I open the app.

I can't seem to get dns4me working right for it either. I have rugbypass.com set to Hong Kong in the custom domains. Any ideas?

I had issues too. I added www to the address and restarted browser and it worked which I thought was strange that I would need to do that.

I looked in NZ store at the time but couldn't find it, hence creating asian account but I have noticed it updates even though I am logged into  NZ. I think you may need to also  create an account on their web site not the app, so dns4me would be required to do that as well.

Created another account, to test the apps again with dns4me. Apple TV app works good so far, sharp picture on the panthers storm game, about 45 seconds behind sky go. Can buy the subscription as an in-app purchase on the NZ store $21.99.

Can only assume an Apple TV app would have come for premier league pass if they got the rights again

I created a singapore iTunes account and downloaded the iOS app but it still doesn't work.  Says this application is unavailable in your area when I open it.

Any tips on how to get it working?

Yo need to use a DNS server, such as dns4me.net and make it look like you are in one of the supported country's.  Won't work without this.

I'm not familiar with that but with dns4me.net you do need to have www.rugbypass.com added under the custom dmains in your user profile.

I just tried the Ivacy VPN client on my iPhone, set to a Singapore server and that worked.

I already have Getflix so just downloaded the RugbyPass app from the NZ app store and it worked straight away.

No changes required in Getflix to set region or anything.

Had to have getflix DNS setup on my Macbook to allow me to create an account on the actual rugbypass.com website first too.

Watched the Warriors and All Blacks on Saturday night without an issue.

Quality was really good too on our 5mbps adsl connection at home.

Edit: Sorry forgot to mention this was an Apple TV4

I think it's the opera VPN.  I've tried it on the opera developer browser and it worked then have just tried it again and it didn't work.  I think I might have to look at a paid service.  What's better a VPN or DNS service?

Personally I think a DNS service is faster and easier to use.  I use https://dns4me.net/ and they are cheap at about $24NZD per year.

Thanks.  I'll do some reading up here in the forums and online and go from there.  Thanks again!
