Anybody else lost the Chiefs v Whales game from the schedule?
I've checked on the website and ATV4 and it isn't showing anymore.
I know it was there before.

Have followed this thread (after getting rid of Sky) and tried to set things upon tonight, but it hasn't worked as hoped. It seems there is a good deal of confusion about how to configure a service such as DNS4me to work with rugbypass.com. I'm thinking it would be great if someone is able to write a brief, step-by-step guide about how to do this - for surely there are multitudes who would benefit from that?
Here's what I did -which didn't work!
1. Established an account with dns4me.net and added 'www.rugbypass.com' to the list of 'custom domains' in the User Console area. Set server to Hong Kong.
2. Following instructions on DNS4me for configuring a Mac : changed the DNS server entries (and removed all others) in the Network control panel, in the 'DNS' section of the 'Advanced' page. Clicked 'Apply'.
3. Restarted Mac.
4. Opened browser (Safari) and tried to load rugbypass.com : it either completely fails to load, or loads a splash page saying 'rugbypass is not available in your location'. I also tried using the Chrome browser : same result.
I'm not sure what to do. One thing that does look odd, is that the IP address listed for my 'home' zone (in DNS4me's 'Zones' tab, is an odd looking one - doesn't relate to any of the IP address I associate with my computer, router etc. I clicked 'use current' and then saved it - it didn't change - but the problem still persists.
Any help, for myself and all the others, would be greatly appreciated!
Matthew
Try adding rugbypass.com as a custom domain also. FWIW, I'm using the Singapore server, not the Hong Kong one. Make sure you restart your computer too!
The "funny looking" IP address is your network's external one, i.e. the one assigned to you by your ISP, and so won't be familiar (and can often change).
That was quick! Thanks!
Will add that domain name (i.e. without the www) and will try the Singapore server. Would it cause problems to have 4 entries in there :
Www.rugbypass.com (Hong Kong)
Rugbypass.com (Hong Kong)
Www.rugbypass.com (Singapore)
Rugbypass.com (Singapore)
I don't need to be logged in to DNS4me to use this do I??
I wouldn't advise having multiple locations specified for the same custom domain, since the whole point is that you're "pretending" to be from one certain location. In the best case it might choose one of the two to use, in the worst case it might just break it :P
Singapore works for me, so would recommend trying that one. Here's my config:

Ooooh - that appears to have worked!! Maybe there is an issue with the Hong Kong server?
So - if this is helpful to others, this is what I did - and it appears to work - in so far as it now loads the rugbypass page, although I haven't actually streamed a match...yet!!
1. Established an account with dns4me.net and added two custom domains :
www.rugbypass.com
rugbypass.com
to the list of 'custom domains' in the User Console area. Set server to Singapore.
2. Following instructions on DNS4me for configuring a Mac : changed the DNS server entries (and removed all others) in the Network control panel, in the 'DNS' section of the 'Advanced' page. Clicked 'Apply'.
3. Restarted Mac.
Great to hear :) Would be interesting to see if it still works without the rugbypass.com domain (i.e. only the www.rugbypass.com one). Using the www. subdomain may cause issues if the geolocation check is being served from another subdomain. In general I think it's probably best to just use the highest-level address (i.e. no www) since it should catch all the traffic, regardless of subdomains.
Just had an email from DNS4me which said the HK server was playing up, and to use the India server. I'm using the Singapore server.
DNS4me sounds a bit more complicated than Getflix, I didn't have to do anything to get Rugbypass to work with Getflix, other than change the DNS server on the device I wanted access on.
You guys that have got it working now do you see the Chiefs Whales game at all?
I don't so can't even watch highlights.

I did have a quick look for the Wales v Chiefs but couldn't see it listed.
yeah couldn't find the wales vs chiefs game either but I'm pretty sure I saw it on the schedule on the weekend unless I was seeing things.

The replay is still on Fanpass later this morning.
And its available ondemand on Sky (both full game and highlights).
S'pose you get what you pay for.

I guess so, as I'm not paying anything for Rugbypass at the moment! 30 day trial. :)
Does Fanpass have an Apple TV 4 app?
