I am definitely be getting me an Iron Man one if they go on sale.

Hurricanes should have been Wolverine.

I like the Highlanders Jersey.

Blues = Spiderman
Chiefs = Black Panther
Hurricanes = Captain America
Crusaders = Iron Man
Highlanders = Hulk

I'm not seeing how the Hurricanes traditional colours fit with Captain America's red, white and blues...similar story with Auckland and Spiderman. In saying that, I'd be keen to get the Hurricanes one as it'll match my Roosters NRL jersey. I do agree they would've suited Wolverine better though

Hard not to feel hard done by last night against the Chiefs.

Yellow Card - All day long that was Red. Mitigation was absolutely minimal but aggravating factors included absolutely no intention to wrap and absolutely no attempt to lower his height. Direct contact with the head with force.

No yellow card for a professional foul holding back a support player (O'Connor).

Two tries were the direct result of forward passes. Clear and obvious.

No penalty for the lifting above the horizontal.

Having said that, it was disappointing to see the Crusaders basically throw in the towel at the end.

Jeez, that's next level sour grapes.  It was a very decisive Chiefs victory.  The Chiefs played extremely well and once again had a superior bench and therefore finish to the game.  If every time your team loses, you dissect the game looking for any possible ref errors that went against you, then you may have a bit of a problem.

Another week of some great super footy.  The new rules (or interpretation) speeding up the game is having a really positive effect on the quality of the rugby - especially late in the game when defences are tired.  Great results for the 'landers and the Force and some seriously entertaining footy from the Drua.

Beauden is really stinking up the Blues, but was awesome to see the Highlanders play so well and get the W.

People make comments about refereeing decisions that impact their team frequently here. This wasn't one small miss. It likely would have made a significant difference to the scoreline. If the shoe was on the other foot....

How do you lose to a team with 13 men?!

Oh dear. Hopefully, this is a one off incident and it's good he has taken full responsibility. It's strange it's taken 9 months to get to there.

Surely, the Blues knew about this earlier?

The All Blacks managed to do it in '03.

I didn't think it was acceptable back then either :)

The Crusaders (At Home) lost to the Bulls (I think?) when they had 14 men on for about 65 minutes after a red card for stamping in the days before the 20 minute red card.

I enjoyed that one as an England fan, wins over NZ have been few and far between. If I remember correctly we were camped on our line defending a scrum with two forwards in the bin and NZ scoring and taking the lead seemed inevitable yet we managed to hold on without conceding.

Yep, it was really impressive and the point that a lot of people (myself included) realised England were a very serious contender for the World Cup that year.

I was waiting for this.

Can’t disagree with Chiefs number 5 yellow card (shoulder contact to the head). But what about the tackle that concussed Jacobsen (8th minute)? Crusaders number 6 direct head to head contact with Jacobsen, immediately followed by shoulder to head contact by Crusaders number 2 in the same tackle. No sanction, let alone a yellow.

Gregor Paul in the Herald:

"while every rugby purist on the planet would have been in their happy place watching the Chiefs’ second-half performance on Friday night.

It was rugby’s version of the total football the Dutch national team played in the 1970s – a seamless and wondrous knitting together of soft and hard skills, forwards and backs interchanging like they knew each other’s roles as well as they did their own.

It was mesmerising and even if the Chiefs season implodes in the next few weeks – a seemingly unlikely proposition – they can look at those 40 minutes and be sure they sold the world the most convincing proof that rugby can make it as an entertainment product."

Looks like Gregor hasn't met @Networkn

I will admit, I didn't see that (I also don't recall seeing any replays), but I wouldn't feel any different about the situation switched back the other way. It further supports my position that the refereeing was pretty average.

You seriously don't think the yellow was a Red?
