Gilbert Enoka returns for the All Blacks. That is a good decision on the face of it. He has been with the AB's during their most successful periods.

I wonder if they will get the whole band back together again and get Darren Shand back to manage the team ? :)

How did everyone that went enjoy the weekend? I only went friday but town was soo busy before and after the game. Great weather all weekend and a great vibe in the city.

My ticket had the wrong door/gate number on it but was easily sorted as was just one over. 10/10 weekend

I have to say, it took my breath away seeing the stadium on game day prior to the game. I only got to see it on TV, but wow!

Morgan Tuinui said it best.

Christchurch had to wait a long time for this, but they got exactly what they deserved.

It was nice to see the Kiwi teams get a clean sweep over Australia on a home Super Weekend.

Some of the stats for the building of this stadium were really quite mind boggling. 650KM of cable for example.

It was some incredible fortune that saw the U20's beat Australia in earlier.

Our tackle completion rate was absolutely awful, and if not for Australias pretty average discipline and some fairly 'interesting' calls that went our way, we would have been given a pretty decent hiding.

Having said that, there is some incredible talent in our U20's at the moment. Some of our forwards have wheels like our backs, and our backs are some of the fastest I've seen.

Cohen Norrie is an absolute weapon

Super rugby weekend in ChCh was awesome. Great pitch for running rugby. Great facilities as far as I could tell. Expensive food and booze of course but the food was good. The beer was mass produced beer. The Canterburians all seemed to be in good spirits. Apart from Auckland winning, it was a perfect weekend.

A lot of elite players are blindingly fast at that age, but lose speed as they are inevitably coached to bulk up. The ability to maintain speed while building muscle seems to be a big barrier to making it as an elite senior player.

I had read, and personally think its kind of sad that they charged a 15% surcharge on all food and drink on Saturday (ANZAC day)

Wow, that looked amazing both on and off the field. I'm so happy for the people of ChCh. They really deserve this. I have a few eye-patcher mates, who did it pretty tough after the quakes, and they were a bit emotional about this - and rightly so. Can't wait to see the opening ABs test there in July and can't wait to get to the stadium in person at some point.

Leister F at 7 for the Crusaders was excellent. Not flawless, but actually pretty amazing considering he is usually a back. I see some haters online as you usually do, but people are a bit unhinged if they have nothing good to say about his performance.

Fehi Fineanganofo from the Hurricanes had a blinder as well. Pity he's off overseas.
