probably not because they more than liklely dont test any of it. easier to make a rule and confiscate it if people offend than to take a chance

So the rules have been made with no basis on fact or figures, no checking afterwards to see if the rules were actually justified.

I could understand it if they said "hey today we got 100ml of liquid explosive, we stopped a plane from been blown, see our rules do work!"

the rules have been made a a precaution. its called being proactive or preventitive not being reactive when 200+ people die on a plane

the rules are there you just have to live with them

blakamin: What annoys me is the no aerosol deodorant in carry-on. I'm flying MEL>WLG for 14 hours then WLG>MEL, but I can't take my usual.
I'm sure they'd be unimpressed if I deodorise with duty free rum too.

You can take deodorant cans (or other aerosols), but they have to be travel size.
