Seems very expensive to me. If the objective is a week in the sun during NZ's winter, I'd go to Raro instead.
If the objective is to experience another country/culture, I wouldn't go to Club Med.

Checked on Celebrity Cruises - you can order the booze package for one person in a cabin and not the other person.
