Having lived in Singapore a long time ago, I miss the food halls - my favorite was a Tiger beer and a packet of chicken rice.  I like the history of the place so those kinds of things.  Raffles for a Singapore Sling,  city hall used to be where all the electronics shops were - not sure if they are still there.

As a Londoner, I’d probably go to a quiet pub for a pint. My local used to be up Camden way. There is the market and one can go to the British library and museums.  Next time I’m back that way, I’d like to try Fallow (restaurant).
