jjnz1: A while ago, (ok maybe almost a decade), Vodafone had this thing where if you were on prepaid, and you ran out of credit, you could still text and use gprs for a few hours until the system kicked in.
Does this apply now?
If so, I might just book a flight, swap my sim for a prepaid one with $20 on it and download until it stops. I might get 1 GB if i'm lucky.
Beccara: We already have to put up with those people in other modes of transport, Yes the long haul thing add's something to the mix but again why should the ignorant few that will do that rubbish stop my ability to conduct peaceful business on my laptop with a data link rather than be dead weight to my employer whilst I'm in flight.
It certainly makes my case for flights around places alot easier if I'm able to show I can work during the flights
