Hi folks,
We just got a phonecall from a representative of a major political party asking if we had voted.
He identified which party he was calling on behalf of.
Could this be considered to be in breach of election day rules?

They can ask if folks have voted and ask if they need help to get to a polling both.
He did ask for me by name (christian name + surname, not just Mrs Surname), which is odd because I have no idea how they would know that.

The Electoral Roll, it's published
If I read the rules right, as long as they don't persuade you to vote for a particular candidate/party that seems fine.
