I think secret racist conversations bagging a race and his own MP's then what JLR did is quite a bit more an issue than donations. IIRC Banksy's was glossed over, "I dont recall that"

Thank you for so rapidly proving my point. This donation game has been going on for years with NZ First. But whatever, there's always an excuse about someone doing something else that means we never hold it against Winston.

Incorrect on both counts. I never discounted NZF donations issues, I just corrected you on the seriousness of both.

I'd say the ongoing issues NZ First has with donations that has been going on for literal decades while accusing everyone else of being bought and paid for trumps the ill-made comments by a placeholder National party leader of an opposition party.

Secret tapes of a meeting bagging Indians, bagging a couple of female MP' as f'ing useless, as well as a couple of longer standing MPs who have since left. Sexual issues with other MP's, one MP suggesting to another to kill himself.  "ill made comments"?

If NZF donation issues  have been going on and widely know for decades you'd expect I would be aware of that

On another note, we know that fees free is bad. Kiwibuild is bad. Why did JC a while back say we might keep KB? Now they say we "might" stop Fees Free, which means they might keep it. They need to have some conviction and shut down both

I don't believe any of the current Parties are worthy to run this country or a corner store. We need for the 2020 a non of the above option on the ballot papers. Maybe its time for Her Majesty to rescind our Dominion status and rule directly as a Monarch.

It's jockeying. No one is showing a hand and everyone is trying to avoid alienating the electorate at large until right before they roll Bridges. Hard to trade off profile-building headlines with committing nothing at all.

Maybe, but if you are happy to bag policies, don't give yourself an option to use them. Follow up your conviction that these policies are bad, with your new and correct ones. Show us that you have the better policies not that you have nothing better to offer. Its like telling a player you are useless but we might have you in our team

Im looking forward to the election campaign. the public failure of Kiwibuild, and other missteps has kept politics to the fore, reminding people that they want real policies, rather than the usual vague generic waffle that occurs every 3 years from everybody. Real policies, with detail and timelines. The cynic in me tells me that these don't exist, as what the masses want done, and the reality are a world apart. Example, is we want AKL transport fixed, and we also want big tax cuts, stuff like that. The public are fickle, they expect far more from Governments than their own finances. Perhaps Govts have endless money trees

I want to see a leader in power that will hold his/her Ministers to account. I also want to see the vast false election promises made by Labour cease and run a semi honest campaign. I also want to see Winston out of it all together.

What Winston is doing with probably 100's of thousands of taxpayers $$$'s suing every man and his/her dog is plain disgusting.

I couldnt vote for Labour as I believe their record is appalling, and I am not just talking about Kiwibuild. Whilst I think JA is very decent she is being pulled in every direction by less than competent/honest Ministers and of course Winston.

Maybe I simply won't vote.

I have the blue pamphlet they sent out. Our Bottom Line. Its great, it fixes everything. But thats what policies always say, big ideas no action. Nats have avoided real policies for a while. It was the 3 term fail for Labour as expected, and Labour was a mess for all those years. They need policies now

I cannot vote for Labour, their record of non achievement is astounding. I cannot vote National while Simon Bridges, Paula Bennet and Judith Collins are still there. I cannot vote NZ Green while bigots remain. I cannot vote NZ First while Shane Jones, Winston Peters and the rest of the crew are still there, actually I cannot vote NZ First period.

You wont see most National policies for a while yet. Why would any opposition party publish all their policies a year from an election. Don't knock them for that....

Non achievement is across both main parties. As is bigotry

if you don't vote that's your democratic choice, but you wont be eligible to complain later. As you know NZ is a racist country, whether we like to admit that or not. So, we are better to vote, with noise about what we find unacceptable from the lawmakers as well as from ourselves.
