Oh dear. They've got some howlers in that press release.

It didn't require an average of 37.5% to get elected. Most of those elected got barely HALF that quantity. The 37.5% was to elect TWO councillors...not one.

As for Albany, it didn't take 20% to elect a councillor...the actual figure is less than 10%. It took almost 20% of the votes to elect TWO councilors.

Update: Albany's two Councilors, Walker and Goudie, got 9.2% and 9.9% (respectively) of all the votes to be elected.
