Todays paper reports that Sroubek gets a NZ passport as his real identity. This enables him to reapply for NZ residency.

 

I simply dont get this at all. HE is a criminal and in prison at our expense for criminal activities around fake passports????

 

There seems to be a lot more to this story than what we have been told. Someone high up clearly wants this guy to remain in NZ.

 

Do all foreign nationals in NZ prisons get NZ passports before they are deported?

@Bluntj Sroubek is not getting a New Zealand passport. He is getting his Czech passport under his real name, which then allows him to apply for a New Zealand residency visa.

 

This is what gets me with some of these political threads. These threads are merely Coalition bashing threads. I checked in today on the other one, what a hoot. Especially some comments re bias, they had me LOL. Crazy stuff. This example is classic. As the need for some, is not to debate the issue, its to find a reason to bash. And in the haste once he found something to bash, the post is all wrong and incorrect, so the following WTF are they doing is also incorrect. All because the core need is a bash opportunity. Hence, its difficult to actually discuss issues, as the blue end is all emotional and upset and doesnt want discussion. Often I see avoidance, as in, good point, I wont discuss that, and so on. Again, what some posted re bias was truly hilarious. Which is a pity for what is actually a discussion thread.

That bias point still has me smiling!  :-)
