Hi,

I have moved from 2degrees fibre connection to Voyager Internet Fibre 200.

ASUS DSL-AC68U router was working fine on 2degrees. (Yes RT version would be better choice , but have LAN 1 as WAN set)

Now on Voyager Internet I cannot get settings correct to get good speeds. 30Mbs max , and can't connect to some sites.

Using 3 other test routers no problem 190Mbs ethernet Voyager.

Has anyone had good success with this modem router on Voyager internet.

Voyager help desk looked at my settings remotely and could not see a problem with my settings , but they did note my slow download speed.

Plugged their test router into my ONT and it worked fine. So maybe this ASUS router not compatible with Voyager network ?

Ensure that QoS is disabled and you're running the latest firmware on it. That router however isn't that good.

Hi. Thanks for quick reply.

Yes Qos if off , and other extra features off too that don't relate to basic connection.

Firmware is the latest.

Have found the ASUS has very strong Wifi Signal compared to my previous modem / routers.

But like you say it may not be the best of routers as far as fibre connections go. ?
