Wow that was good timing - any one got a promo code - the disconnect fees with Spark are killer.

A promo code for what? Both the $200 joining credit and free APV are available to all new customers on a 12 month contract. No promo code required.
Does 2degrees apply a surcharge if you pay by credit card?

ChounWick: Great timing with the post! I’m moving into a new flat and it seems that 2Degrees for broadband is the way to go. What’s the difference between the Unlimited Plan and the Ultimate Unlimited Plan? Is Ultimate Unlimited worth paying the $25 more? TIA
Welcome! If you can get UFB, in your case I would for starters just go with the 100/20Mbit plan to see how you cope. If you do a tonne of gaming / steam downloads etc then perhaps the full 1Gbit (Ultimate) is the way to go. You did however mention to me that VDSL is the only thing available at your address. If this is the case, I'd recommend sticking with Fibre-X as it'll be faster than the VDSL service you're likely to get.

@ChounWick For UFB it really depends on the type of install.
1) If ONT exists - anywhere between 1-3 days normally.
2) If ONT doesn't exist - anything from a week to a year (honestly) depending on how complex the installation is, approval process etc.
Me personally, it took 3 months to get UFB installed at my current address due to approvals having to take place and installation problems (My UFB installation is documented here: https://murfy.nz/2016/01/16/my-ufb-installation/) but at my previous address it took a week start to finish to get it installed.
Hopefully wouldn't take too long though - 2degrees are pretty quick. Just a bit of a tip, ask if they're happy to provide you with ADSL/VDSL at the start until you're connected to UFB if you don't have an ONT already installed.

^ this. 2° offered me ADSL or VDSL at both places where fibre was not immediately available and required third party consents (and thus were going to take at least a month to get installed).
So - an update
So went with 2degrees - mainly due to Amazon Prime being included, and a $10 discount as my wifes mobile was with them.
Swapping was easy - mostly - they cut me off before the modem arrived which was a pain - and in the middle of the weekend which sucked - luckily i had a spare router - which i could put in.
Then checked the speed and found it was slow - rang and support was great fixed in 20 minutes - and full speed - it was noticeably faster than the Spark provided broadband and all user in the house noticed the difference.
No problems since, and the Fritx box is great and better quality than anything i have had from any other broadband provider, and better than anything else i had in the house. (Netgear D6300).
All in all happy with my move to 2Degrees.
