Hmmm... I see. In this context, NFTs seem to be kinda like personalised plates or collecting stuff that you then store in a bank vault, in that they have no intrinsic value or benefit, but you can sell it again,

I heard them recently described as like getting a celebrity/author to autograph a book/movie poster etc.  yes its is sort of unique, BUT there is nothing to stop the creator signing more..

*I think I'm starting to understand what's going on here:

Headline stories a week or so ago:

NFTs Are Crashing and Who Could Have Seen This Coming Other Than Basically Anyone?

The NFT Market Has Collapsed, Oh No

But wait, Update, June 11, 2021:

*  Nope - I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

Dammit.  I'm going to change my GZ avatar to something more suited to the NFT market.

Also noticed an NZ astrophotographer getting in on it.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

"The incident undermines one of the things that make NFTs so attractive: the fact that they offer cryptographically secure authenticity. But the problem is that authenticity is dependent on the seller being who they say they are."
