You must have it setup wrong, I use my AMEX everywhere and never have to sign, half the time don't even have to select the CRD tab, just enter the PIN.

Used my Amex at BP yesterday and didn't require a Sig? Used it at Countdown last week and no Sig required? In fact the only place I've every needed to sign is when travelling in the US.

It did ask me for a pin when I registered online, which I did create.

I think that was the same for me, but you still have to go online and either re-do it, or just switch PIN mode on.

Used to get 2 x lounge passes for every $20k spent.

They've now changed this to for every $30k spent. They'll also cap it at 2 per year.

Depending what you use it for but I have an ASB Light visa

This has zero fees, low interest but the cool thing is the "smart rate" for purchases over $1000. Currently it's 0% for 6 months. Good if you are a bit of a geek and like to buy new toys that are over the $1000 as you get 6 months to pay it off with no fees or interest :)

Might pay to wait for the dust to settle on this - all the other Air NZ Airpoints cards may be going through the same tightening as Air NZ tries to reduce overcrowding in the koru lounges (plenty of articles online about this).

Priority Pass is not really a Koru replacement. It's not possible to recommend anything else without knowing what your requirements are, but it would seem the best alternative for you is to buy Koru membership.

Sorry, my mistake. Capped at two PAIRS.
Still, wonder how ANZ (and Kiwi bank)are going to make up for it. Obviously not their decision, but Air NZ's.

I doubt they will do anything especially if the competition have all reduced their offerings too.
