You could use Hetrix Tools, it's free and easier to get started as it's hosted. I use both, Hetrix and Kuma.

Looks like you got it sorted, but I wanted to share what https://www.pikapods.com - I've moved my personal Uptime Kuma instance to it and have been very happy. < $3/mo to run it with .5 cpu/.5gb ram / 5gb storage and not have to worry about the hosting environment (which for an uptime tool - I'm happy to just pay to have that be handled with high reliability). The one downside is that they don't have datacentres in/near APAC, so latency will be skewed and subject to lots of routing for any local services. You can front the web interface with Cloudflare or similar and it it's very respectable to use though.

Was also going to mention Pikapods - I've been running my Uptime Kuma instance with them for coming up 3 years now (as well as a few things I want to host externally) - Great service and has been great support when I've emailed them.
