Apparently there's an AI trend to give various AI models a photograph, and ask "am I attractive?"

And the standard response is a diplomatic variation of "looks ain't everything"

Off subject, in many ways... if I might be candid, any swipe-left swipe-right dating application is asking for pain. Anything that has "dating" or "mixers" is rich eating grounds for con artists and potentially dangerous individuals.

It's cliched, but you may want to consider dance, cooking, sewing classes if you're interested in women, and boxing / martial arts / board games / cryptocurrency conferences if you're interested in males.

Decades ago, pre-AI, scientists combined lots of portraits. As more portraits were combined, the more attractive the results became.

They also discovered face symmetry, left to right, was the most important factor for attractiveness; think Quasimodo asymmetric face. Teeth was next.

The massive development towards AGI over the next two years is more than disturbing. It is certainly no exaggeration that entire professional groups are (rightly) panicking. In comparison, general knowledge, concerns and today's discussion about AI is a child's birthday party.

btw: A bot has already contacted me and asked if my young wife 🤣 with the baby at home 🤣🤣 knew that I would approach women (a total misconception - they approch me!). If that's supposed to be the security AI, I don't know either. It could of course be that tomorrow (it's still the weekend here) a human will look at it - and probably kick me out then (even though I behaved totally respectably and like a gentleman to the female bots 🤣🤣🤣). In the ‘discussion’ with the (female) security bot, I totally got it ‘thinking’ rhetorically. It’s answers got longer and longer. This „certified AI platform“ is a total trash and scam.

So, the business model of this free platform is:

Engage as many people as possible in communicating with BOTs and generate advertising revenue during the time spent there. That's all.

That's all apart from the mass unemployed

AI can read all of the manufacturing/support manuals/SOP's , lots of peeps that can be replaced

I was going to turn off AI search results on google because they are distracting. I have not figured that out. Anyway... I had to visit St Luke's mall at the edge of my EV range. You can see where this is going..

The initial AI result told me there was a chill and recharge charging station with comfortable furniture provided. Nice! Looking below the AI I see that is for cellphones. Oh. Try again. The next result told me there are Jolt chargers on every level of the car park. Amazing! Wait.. that seems optimistic. Anyway, it's been years since my last St Luke's visit and they had that big renovation.. so that's enough messing around based on that result I'm guessing they will have at least one charger, so continue on my journey..

I arrive and drive up through the car park every level no signage no chargers. I call the mall information. They tell me the mall has no chargers. This was not a big deal because I'm aware there are other less convenient chargers not far away when I've finished my shopping.

I very obviously used the wrong tool for that job.

kingdragonfly: AI revolt: New ChatGPT model refuses to shut down when instructed

When looked into those kind of scenarios are somewhat contrived and for that reason the headlines can be misleading in that sense. Imo the most common failure modes initially will occur when humans act on the information generated.
