Hi

I am new to EPG Collector and have had a decent read of setting it up. So far I can't see where I have gone wrong. I have simply installed, opened TV Centre and created a ini file for Wellington Mt Kaukau that looks like this:

I have placed that file in the C:\ProgramData\Geekzone\EPG Collector\ folder. When I run this file however I get no data and an exit code number 13. This is what the run looks like:

Looks like it is not seeing any EPG info. Try setting it to infill. I am not sure as I live in Wainui but for me I have to use infill to get any data. Open your setup and run collection from the Run menu to confirm you are getting data (do not save afterwards)

Have you allowed EPG Collector access through the Windows Firewall?

The HDHomerun is a network tuner so EPG Collector needs to have network access. It's mentioned in the appendices in the ReadMe.

Not sure why your file at the top says 609000 but seems to be tuning 690000

I get my EPG using EPG Collector off Kaukau with a HDHomerun and haven't noticed any issues.

Thanks guys. I have updated the frequency that was incorrect. No joy though for getting any data. I will have to look into the firewall issue. That certainly makes sense given the network tuning setup.

You MUST allow network traffic to the HDHomeRun or the program won't collect anything. I have a HDHomeRun.

Thanks all for your help. It was the Windows Firewall. As you say once I had allowed the EPG Collector.exe as an exception it worked a treat!
