Hi,
this is the first time I have posted as usually an existing forum has always covered any previous problems I have had. 

This week the EPG collector suddenly stopped working.
I live in Auckland and my UHF aerial is pointed at Sky Tower albeit we are in the shadow of Mt Albert so signal is not perfect 100% of the time.
The collector tuning parameters are set to Auckland Infill 530MHz.

When I run the collector I get the following;

Found Tuner 1: Hauppauge WinTV-7164 BDA DVBD Tuner (Terrestrial)
Found Tuner 2: Hauppauge WinTV-7164 BDA DVBD Tuner (Terrestrial)
Tuning to frequency 530000 on Terestrial
Using Tuner 1: Hauppauge WinTV-7164 BDA DVBD Tuner
Signal not locked and signal quality not > 0
Signal not locked and signal quality not > 0
Signal not locked and signal quality not > 0
Failed to acquire signal

the same goes for tuner 2

Finally i get the message;
The collection process has completed with exit code 6
The EPG data is incomplete 

I have spent half the day trying to fix the problem.
In WMC i get excelent reception on all channels.
I uninstalled EPG Collector and updated it with V4.0 and copied fixpack 4 files into EPG folder.
I have reinstalled the Hauppauge drivers
I have taken the tuner card out rebooted then put it back in.
I have tried all three Auckland infill frequencies and also set it to Sky Tower.
I have ticked the signal present box
I have now started pulling out my hair and still it doesn't work.

I look forward to a response from some generous soul that may be able to help me fix this problem.

Have you got other apps open at the same time?
W7 I take it?
32 or 64 bit?

W7 64bit no other apps open but have tried collecting data with and without WMC running.

BTW Tuner is Hauppauge WINTV HVR2200 MC PCI-E (White Box)

If it can't tune when previously it could it's almost certainly signal strength.

Thanks for your suggestion.
As mentioned in my first post I get almost perfect reception on all freeview channels in WMC. Reception hasn't changed.

Put BDA in the Trace box on the Diagnostics tab, run it again and post the log.

I will give it a go but just in case - how do you post the log as i can't seem to find where the log is kept or select the text. Thanks Peter

Its called EPG Collector.log and its in your 'data' directory. The ReadMe tells you where that is.

Any ideas based on the previous log?

No problems in the log although it only tried tuner 1 as tuner 2 was in use.

It can only be the signal if the tuner reports not tuned.
