Not sure if it is something I am doing wrong but when I used TVNZ or TV3 on demand with the built in web browser it is totally useless the same can also be said for other video streaming online. Is there something I am not doing right I can use LG 3D world and bandwidth is not an issue.
Also watching youtube this way is sometimes the same and you are not able to get full screen.
I also had this problem with my iPad until I installed an app called splashtop But I dont see this app being avaliable for smart TV's ( hint to the programers of this app )
Is there anything that can be done simply to allow me to have TV on demand ?

Welcome to the world of useless TV built-in web browsers.
They are extremely limited and brand dependent.
I think Samsung is the only one that works with TVNZ on demand (or maybe it's only TV3,TV4?).
Stick with the PC or Laptop.
The only good use I found for my Sony TV's browser is for accessing and watching the old NZ Film weekly news-reels archive. All black and white of course but good for NZ History (WW2 to the early 60s) and I remember some of them from when they used to be in Cinemas each week.

Samsung have TVNZ OnDemand locked down for the rest of 2013 apparently... so while some browsers may work / may not work, you can't guarantee it. nor will they be bringing out an App. any time this year.

I know it maybe just me. But why would you want to use TV ondemand when the picture quality is so terrible on a 60 inch HDTV. It will look absolutely awful, it looks bad enough on a 15 inch computer screen.

You would be better off recording the HD quality signal on freeview or SKY

The TVNZ on demand with a Samsung tv is crap quaility, even worse than sky's over compressed feed. But linking the YouTube app with the app on my tablet is great (no so great for my bandwith..). TV3 on demand is usable through the built in browser, but quality is worse than TVNZ.
Have a new 50inch samsung series 6 LED. Now just to get the stereo hooked up again after having to move out for eqc repairs
