trying to get epg collector to work and cant even get past the first stage. :( i have the aerial vertically aligned to kopu kairua but when i scan it gets no data/signal....

what frequency should i be scanning at? ive selected mheg5 and  kopukairua 2012+ but no data...

i suspect that there are a few joins in the aerial cable in the roof. reception is ok but maybe not enough for EPG?

any tricks to getting data from kopukairua?

You want to scan any one of the following frequencies (Scanning more than one is not necessary).

570 MHz
586 MHz
602 MHz

thanks..the other issues...
1)how do i do the fix patches? the guide says things like "run the installer" and extract it...but there is no installer file?
2)also the window that EPG collector opens in to set up the collector parameters isnt big enough and i cant actually select the "selected scanning frequencies" so i cant delete the auckland one in favour of the kopukairua one...how the hell do i change that?

how do i get the output to be be recognised by MCE? what the heck is an MXF file and where is it...any guides for total newbs..ive been feckin around with this for 4 hours now with no success.
sorry for the stupid questions but the instructions simply dont match the reality of what is actually showing up....

If I had to guess, I'd say you've got the display set to 125 or 150%.

Go to Control panel, select display, and set it to 100%.

I imagine that things will become a lot clearer once you fix that.
