Hi folks!

I have a HP Pavilion DV6-6C38TX, and recently my HDMI Audio option has dissapeared when connected to my Onkyo 606 amp.



Usually when I connect it, there is an HDMI option that selectable here.

Can anyone help get this working normally again?  Without it, the audio only comes out of the laptop and not the amp.

Try unplugging the display from the reciever and plugging it back in again. That makes it re-detect on mine.

I have given up on HDMI for audio, since when the power saving kicks in for the monitor, the audio goes away. Stupid design. Thankfully my new mobo has an optical out on it so am using that.
