My daughter had a garage clean out and found her Logitech Bluetooth headphones with iPod adapter, model F-0397A.

The headset charges and works, but the sender unit doesn't turn on ... tries holding start button and reset etc. Appears to want to be constantly charged.

Does anyone have a spare/discarded sender unit, or suggestions for repairs etc most welcome.

If the BT headphone works, try pair it with any smartphone. If there is a code for pairing, try 0000. (I have HP branded of the same BT headphones and its pairing code is 0000, it has no iPod BT transmitter part).

Also, it's worthwhile contact Logitech (on Twitter or Facebook) and let them know. They've been pretty good replacing a few of my out-of-warranty Logitech parts - Harmony battery, Harmony A/C adapter).

Kelvin, yeah, it pairs with phone no problems, just that she'd like to retain her iPod

Hmm, definitely try give Logitech on Twitter a tweet and see what they can do. Nothing to lose, and worse come to worst, it still can be used with any BT devices.

I guess any of the Bluetooth adapters available ex eBay/TM etc for the iPod would work?

Not quite, the headphone is set to auto pair with its companion transmitter, otherelse you will need a code to pair it. However any "other" transmitter that doesn't have a way to input code, it makes it difficult to pair with the headphone.
