Hey guys I just got a Sony Bluetooth SRS-30 Speaker and I was wondering can I connect this speaker to my Sony home theatre system and extend the sound? The home theatre has NFC and Bluetooth already but I've tried pairing and they don't connect. I've been searching over the net for this one but there is nothing about it. Anyone know if this is possible and if it is am I doing something wrong? The home theatre is from 2014.

Cheers

unlikely as both units will use BT as inputs from devices like phones etc. their BT wont be an output to another device

Thanks Jase is there any way I can make an extension to the home theatre using Bluetooth? There is a party mode on the home theatre system hence I thought it might work with other systems

"You can play the same music at the same time on all Sony equipment which are compatible with the PARTY STREAMING function and connected to your home network."

so unless your bluetooth speaker supports that mode, and can connect to your network you are likely out of luck
