Hey

Just wandering why all lcd Tv's that ive watched have noticed that the sound doesnt match the picture, is this because of the new technology of the picture not being fast enough to match the sound? What can be done to fix the problem or do you need to have a separate AMP/Receiver to fix the problem.

i have a samsung 42", i have the described problem. Its all the picture enhancement settings that add to the lag. Turn that off and you wont notice it as much..

What sources are you using e.g Sky, Freeview? It's more likely the disparity of video and sound is coming from a digital source

Ahh ive got sky digital, and ive noticed on friends LCD's through UHF/VHF Reception also.

Some of the newer receivers have a lipsync adjustment that allows you to compensate for the delay. Most older ones don't though.
