BRATECK 100" Projector Screen  about $160

 

On Trademe    About $104

 

So is mainly used in darkened room tripod stand Is the Brateck that much better than the cheap and cheerful on TM?

$104 is cheap for a projector screen... some you'll find are just dirty cheap.

 

If you're using an older projector or a data projector then you'll be fine spending one hundred and change.

Those are both 4:3 options, so when used on 16:9 it will be considerably smaller too.

Try Phifer Shearweave 4500 (Chalk).

 

It is acoustic transparent (openess 5%) should you wish to use it.

 

Available from Topfab Auckland.

 

4500 Chalk  249cm (width)  @ $49.24 + gst per  L/mtr

If you choose the acoustic transparent Shearweave material be aware that moire patterns will be displayed unless you tilt the fabric around 24 degrees or more off 'straight'.
