I am looking for a small bluetooth enabled amp (50wx2 is fine) to power a couple of speakers (roof mounted) in a new build we have just completed. We have run the wires to a central point and want something small (aka - not normal sized AMP). Ok with just bluetooth and 1 other input for TV. Any suggestions? The rest of the house is connected via Elan system but didnt/could wire the new part as not enough zones left. Its for a large bedroom dont need huge power.

yamaha do a small sized amp, its 2 inches shorter than other amps

If it's Yamaha 2-channel and compact, look at the WX-A50.

It has Bluetooth, Airplay, DLNA, Spotify Connect, Tidal, Deezer and MusicCast... if you're running a full ElanG control system then drivers will be available, but if you're just running an Elan multi-room hub, then it's not quite that simple.

There's an optical input (PCM only) as well as RCA. Plus there's a fan that can be turned on if you're worried about ventilation.

Not exactly hi-fi, but acceptable sound and very reliable bluetooth operation

That would certainly be the cheaper way to do it if you're buying new.

However the power ratings are off the money for what the OP listed @ 10W (1kHz, 6ohms, 10% THD).

I'm sure that's right - I didn't look into the specs, but for music in one room via a pair of speakers it's very adequate. I guess impedance matching will be the critical thing
