What is the cheapest anyone has seen last years Panasonic 65" OLED advertised for? There is one in a local appliance store and he tells me that is the cheapest it has ever been.

if you have the model number, then you can simply look it up on pricespy. A model number would be the least amount of information most people would require to assist.

IMHO $4k is a little on the steep side for a clearance 2017 model assuming it's the base EZ950 model - Heathcotes are showing $3999 on Pricespy for it.

2017 Sony and LG 65" OLED models were clearance at around $4200 6 months ago, but since then you've seen the price of 2018 models already drop significantly which is surprising considering their normal supply cycle and the fact the NZ$/US$ has tanked. The 2018 Panasonic OLED is already down under $5k at present and the 2018 55" is under $3500

The Panasonic model is good but I wouldn't pay that for it - I'd be haggling them down at least another couple of hundred or simply walking away from it if they're not willing to negotiate on clearance stock.
