Hello,

I have been having the most enormous fun with my new Samsung 55" QLED (QF7) telly.

I've set up Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, TVNZ on Demand, Freeview on Demand, and Google Play Movies and TV.

But the one thing that refuses to work is setting up a Samsung account.

I always get this error:

Unable to connect to the Samsung server. Check your network settings or try again later (100)

This is preventing me from setting up SmartThings, and possibly from getting firmware updates (it says current version is 1202).

All that other stuff works just fine, so its not an internet issue. And I have retried sooo many times now.

Has anyone here had this problem as well, or did it just work for you?

Hi , have not used Samsung for a while but can recall an issue when I did not have the time or location set correctly on a Samsung TV .

aha! Turns out it was me!

I had setup an account at Samsung USA instead of Samsung NZ. Apparently they are completely different.
