Hi

Not sure if anyone can assist but any help would be appreciated. I have a Samsung Smart TV model JS8000. 55"

Just noticed lighter vertical bands on both left and right of the screen.

Have adjusted setting but seem unable to get rid of them.

Also tried picture reset to no avail.

Have had the TV since 2015 so still in my view very young.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Is that a reasonably high end TV with local area dimming backlight?

Just that brighter lines on the screen are usually indicative that the panel is borked, but I wouldn't be so sure that it isn't some setting you've missed / accidentally set wrong - to do with contrast or backlight settings. (or of course it could be the backlights/drivers).

If there's a fault, it should be covered by CGA - if not still in warranty. Especially so perhaps - as it's not a cheap budget model.
