Hey

i have just been given one of these, and i can't get it to go...i am not really a newbie, and i was wondering if anyone knew about running these under XP SP2.

I have installed correct pixelview xp driver, plugged in Aerial (i get excellent analogue reception) yet i can't seem to pick up any channels - I've tried scanning, and i get 75% of the bottom of my TV Box is green, and the top 25% is funny static.

Same with FM - no signal whatsoever.

Feels like something simple, but its got me stumped.

Cheers

Geoffw

First I would suggest checking the composite in works, if not, the card is prob crook

If it does then the tuner is incorrect, try alternate bt878 drivers till you find one that works with the tuner type on the card. Lots of manufacturers have being thru the whole lot of manufacturers on the cards so just because the card seems to be right, doesnt make it right, and the PnP ID is usually the same between different versions.

There is a reference driver which I had good luck with. google should sort you on it.
