I picked this 50 inch 4K smart TV out of a bin on my road and it seems to work fine except I can't tune it. It's searching channels but nothing comes up. Also wanting to update it's firmware. I found a link to the manual on The Warehouse documents site but doesn't download so I'm guessing doesn't exist anymore.

Does HDMI input from a DVD player or Chromecast or computer work at all?

I suggest you call 0800 883 301 for the Veon Customer Support Line.

 

I've had 3 different Veon TV's and never has there been a firmware update available.  You can try the manual for this 50" 4K model (SRO504K2018).

Yes that's a good option also adds an extra remote and level of confusion the more aged members of my household. The TV has Netflix for example.
