Just wondering if anyone has the Samsung Freestyle and thoughts about it. Thinking about getting one for the RV coupled with a 50" screen for living area and bedroom. Many thanks.

It's pretty good for the small thing it is. Better yet, it runs Samsung Tizen so has apps for Netflix, Apple TV+, TVNZ, Amazon, Disney+ and more so you don't need a laptop or phone to drive it.

If you can get it with a discount, even better.

@michaelmurfy got one.

Thanks for that, Smiths City has it for $1259, cheapest I've seen it anywhere.

Just worried about the dreaded DLP 'rainbow' effect as both my wife and I are susceptible to it.

I've got one of these projectors and have found it to be rather good with picture quality, sound quality (from the Projector itself) and also brightness.

The operating system it runs can sometimes be a little laggy (like most Smart TV's) but other than that for the size it is very quiet and the auto focus comes in very handy. There is also a battery accessory you can get (I got it free with my projector a few months back) that turns it into a fully portable projector.

Haven't noticed the "DLP Rainbow".

We brought one for work so we had something small to transport around instead of the big old fashioned projects.

I'm very impressed with it, it auto-lines itself up to whatever surface you are projecting onto (even at an angle).

As noted above it has Smart TV apps built into it, after I got it going the built-in Samsung IPTV channels came to life so was rather amusing that we had Baywatch showing on our wall

And none of the rainbow flashes? That is the only thing concerning us.

Didn't observe any rainbow flashes during testing, I'd say make sure the firmware is up to date
