I have direct t.v. downstairs and I split it off (via the tv/out on my receiver) to the upstairs.

But, to change the channel (while upstairs) I have to walk downstairs and be "in sight" of the downstairs t.v.

I need a solution..tks

you need an av wireless sender. i have done so with my freeview decoder. now i can change the channel in my bedroom eventhough the decoder is in the lounge, this as long as you have the remote with you.

Since it looks like you're in the US (Direct TV) this is a solution that might work for you
