kiwijunglist has these: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=84&TopicId=31205

I've added a few and have changed the look to not have the oval shape but the set he made is pretty complete.

I took kiwijunglist's set and the lyngsat-logo.com set and merged them.  I'm happy to post them up (once I get home) but I'll be honest; I'm not 100% happy with them.  Its a pretty complete set (even have a TV3+1 logo) and whilst they're the same shape I find they're a bit too white (the background's are mostly white).  I'm going to play around with them some more.

I saw a set for MediaCenter somewhere on here I liked the look of that I might replicate.  They were white logos on transparent background.  Looked very tidy and I think that will be better for my MediaPortal set up.

Yeah, logos on transparent background will definitely work best with the mce guide. I just thought somebody might have already done the hard yards and finished off a set of high quality logos. Looks like I'll have to dust off photoshop.

As promised, here are the TV logos I have put together following kiwijunglist's example.

Download: Logos.zip

I'm going to have a go at another style and, if I like it, will post an update.

Here's an example of the logos I'm thinking of creating.  They're a rough draft but would appreciate some thoughts.

If anyone already has done something similar would love to hear about it (so I dont have to do the work!).

I don't want to steal someone else's hardwork.
Credit goes to Cadriel from geekzone for doing the freeview logos.
I just added the Chinese TV logo, and updated the instructions a little.

IMHO - i prefer the full colour logos, that looks too plain and they all look too similar without the colour.

And of course you got permission from the broadcasters to use their copyrighted logos?

Must be a personal taste thing.  I find all the colour a bit "too much" Smile

Having completed the logos (though some might need adjusting) I think they look great and will be keeping them I think.  Ties in nicely with the MediaPortal theme I feel.  I guess I like the understated look a little bit more.

You are joking, right?  Although I don't doubt there is truth behind what you say, surely you're not seriously suggesting that enthusiasts need to get broadcaster permission for something they are getting no monetary gain from?

If you are then the mods should seriously consider closing this thread as I'm certain it would be breaking the GZ T&Cs.

And if not then I will post up my version of the Freeview and Sky channel logos tonight.  I'm certainly no graphic designer but I'm happy with my colour logos :)
