Hi

Anyone sucessfully upgraded to MP 1.0.1 / 1.0.2 and viewing 1080i Live TV without problems using XP.

If so please post your specs, as it seems a lot of people are having problems with 1080i TV + XP + MP 1.0.1/1.0.2

Heya,

works fine for me - upgrade went smoothly, TV3 (DVB-T 1080i h.264) works fine @ rock solid 50fps. It's TV1 & TV2 that have always given me a problem, 720p @ a steady 37.5fps (not recently introduced, has always been a problem for me)

XP sp3

Athlon64 4000+

Asus 8600gt Silent 512mb

HVR2200

PowerDVD8 h.264 Codec with Hardware Acceleration

My setup is fine, xp pro sp3, mp 1.0.1.0 (upgrade from 1.0), Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD8).
Works fine with recorded / live TV3.

Connected to w4000 Sony 46" TV via HDMI, 1920x1080p, computer is a core2duo, vid card 9400GT.

Only issue I have is the dynamic rate changer is grayed out in the configuration, so, I am unable to use it (my tv suports 50/60/24P), but, otherwise, everything works great.

I have an odd issue where TV1-3, C4 work fine, but any of the Kordia channels (Maori TV, Parliament TV etc, won't display a picutre).

Works fine when you do a preview in TV-Server, but not in Mediaportal.

Running 1.0.2 and using a E6600 Intel CPU with Asus8600GT

The E6600 is a CPU - the Hardware Acceleration is handled by the Asus8600GT video card.

I recently upgraded to 1.0.1 from RC4 & am experiencing same issues. Haven't watched much TV since update, so wasn't really aware of it unitl now.

I tried to watch a Night At The Museum & had to shut down MP & watch it on Zoomplayer, which was fine. Saw your posts over at MP forum. Hope they get it sorted, otherwise I'll just Ghost back to previous version.

Also, the 8500/8600 card range are CUDA compliant. Guessing your above post, regarding e6600, was a typo.

yeah when i see 'e' it makes me think video for some reason.

You can use 1.0 Final that seems rock solid to me. The stuttering problem for 1080i h264 tv hasn't been identified by the coders as a bug.
