I'm grabbing the XMLTV listings from a site. (for the sake of argument, we'll talk about the freeview listings at http:/epgnz.000a.biz/... )
I then want to use epgstream to get the xmltv listing turned into lovely windows media center friendly EPG data for my vista machine.
The story so far: I've entered the http:/epgnz.000a.biz/freeview.xml.gz address into the epgstream, but I'm havnig the same problem as mdp over in this post. I've got I've put http:/epgnz.000a.biz/freeview.xml.gz into both the source channel and data URL entries. I've got no idea what to put in the XMLTV setup screen when it asks for the the URL file format and URL date format fields.
BUT - when I run the guide download, it only mostly works. It spots the stations, ID's them correctly, and then runs through their listings and gives me "0 days" downloaded for each.
I KNOW this is wrong. The data in the xml file is correct, and has a week's listings. But I'm not getting them.
Any ideas? My old EPG solution is now belly up, and the WAF factor on the media center has dropped accordingly.
