Hi,

I am just starting on the HTPC route and wanted some thoughts on what I need to get to have a good set up.

So far I have the simple stuff - new Mac Mini connected to Bravia via HDMI, separate Sky box. I have fibre to the home through Xnet, so fast connection, but no option on MySky as it is an IP phone line.

On the Mac I have just set up TV On Demand sites, Ziln and loaded all films and music I have.

It feels like I'm missing something to access more content and to bring it all together - any thoughts/ideas? Happy to shell out a few more $ if needed!

Thanks
Neil

You are missing Freeview which could be a DVR, or a HTPC software (although on the Mac it may not be completely "integrated" solution.

What about iTunes account for buying/renting movies?
