Hi,

Problem: I need to connect my 2010 Macbook Pro to my old-ish TV which only supports RCA.

I used to be able to do this just fine with my Mini-DVI to RCA/S-VHS adapter, however Macbook Pro's have for some time had Mini Displayport instead.

I do not need audio running from MDP - I will use a 3mm Jack->Stereo RCA for that. I just need 'decent' quality video output.

Advice/thoughts etc :)

gehenna: Mini DisplayPort to RCA/S-VHS cable?

No such thing exists it seems - and even if it did, a cable can't convert it from digital (computer output) to analog (TV input).
