I am looking about for a high quality cabinet to house my amplifier/DAC/CD player. I have been around town and not seen anything I like. Most stores have the generic Criterion furniture home theatre cabinets which I dislike.

Anyone know of any sites dedicated to good quality furniture of this kind?

Check out Danske Mobler. They had a few nice ones.. Expensive, but they can also make custom changes (WAF was high too)

You'll find them at specialist stores / Harvey Norman's etc.
NZ made and quite reasonably priced in my opinion.

As you say most of the Generic Criterion Black styles aren't very appealing.
We had trouble finding a suitably cheap cabinet that suited our needs. Most were too long, too low or just not enough space for all the gear. Eventually found one at a recycled rimu furnitiure store for around $250. Still had to cut the back out to get the Amp in as it wouldn't fit from the front. Was about 10mm too low to slide in.
Unfortunately they have since gone belly up but plenty of that type of store stilll around.
